If I could I would know how,
how to stop the agony and the pain
How can I stop people from ill-gotten gain
How to stop the heart from experiencing the rain
How to fix it all and place us all on the same plain
If how, and I succeed-then my desires would be ill-gotten gain?
Are you saying that you'd start out with great intentions for humankind and then once you succeed your intentions and desires would most likely turn bad...

That's another way to look at it. But, what if after leveling the plain ,making every heart joyful, ridding agony and pain, ill gotten gain-There be one who was COMPLETELY HAPPY just "the way it was"!
